Rotary Dawnbreakers' 27th Annual Western Dinner Features Bull Rides & Benefits Charity

The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers will host its 27th Annual Western Dinner-Auction on Saturday March 5th, 2016

(Crystal Lake, IL) The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers will host its 27th Annual Western Dinner-Auction on Saturday March 5th, 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.

Last year more than $65,000 was raised in one fun-filled evening, 100% of which is distributed to a number of deserving local, regional, and international entities. In the last 26 years of the Rotary Dawnbreakers Auction, they have distributed to charity well over 1.5 Million Dollars!

Guests are encouraged to dress in western gear, enjoy lots of western grub, bid on over 300 Silent and Live Auction Items, as well as listen and dance to country music. This year’s event includes an exciting opportunity the ride a bucking mechanical bull.

Those who cannot attend may still support the event and take a chance to win $5,000 or other monetary prizes in the “Show Me The Money” Raffle. 250 Tickets will be sold at $100 each. Winner need not be present.

“This is a great local effort,” said Rotary president Mary Miller. “Funds are raised at our Western Auction; tens of thousands of dollars are given back into the community to charities which are struggling due to state and other grant limitations.”

The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers is celebrating their 27th year and have raised over $1,500,000 through their Annual Western Auction. All funds are donated back to charities locally and through Rotary International. The club meets each Wednesday from 6:30 am to 7:30 am at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn on Three Oaks Road.
