Youth Free Throw Contest

The Knights of Columbus will conduct a basketball Free Throw Championship Saturday, January 16th at the St. Thomas the Apostle Gymnasium, 460 Lake Street, Crystal Lake. The event is open to all Girls and Boys, Ages 9-15 in the community. Registration starts at 9am and the contests begin at 9:30am. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is a national event, locally sponsored by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council 10678 and Fr. McCormick Council 3880 from St. Thomas the Apostle parish. All contestants will be recognized for their participation in the event. Age group winners will receive a Championship plaque and advance to the District Free Throw Championship in February at SS Peter and Paul School in Cary where they will have the chance to move on to the Regional Championship on Saturday March 5th in Crystal Lake and the State Championship in April in Chatham, Illinois.
