2 Crashes Near Bar, 1 Arrest: Darien Cops
Police were responding to an accident at the bar when they saw another one, report says.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
- Luis Moreno Barragan, 25, of Westmont, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI and operating an uninsured vehicle. According to police, officers were investigating an accident in the parking lot at Q Bar, 8109 Cass Ave., when they witnessed another crash and came into contact with Barragan. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Suspects tried to gain entry into a house by prying open a patio door between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 8900 block of Kilkenny Drive. The damage to the door was estimated at $2,000.
- A car's tire was slashed between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 4 in the parking lot at Colonial Manor Apartments, 1110 Plainfield Road.
- A catalytic converter was removed from a car between 8 a.m. Nov. 1 and 6 p.m. Nov. 4 from a car parked in the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive, which is in the area of the Farmingdale Apartments. The loss is estimated at $500.
- Paintballs were shot at a house between 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Hamilton Lane.
