2 Darien Domestic Battery Arrests Made: Police

In separate incidents, a man and a woman were sent to the DuPage County Jail, police said.

DARIEN, IL — In recent days, Darien police arrested a man and a woman in separate incidents on domestic battery charges. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:

  • Jason Simon, 33, of Darien, was arrested shortly before 11 p.m. March 19 in the 100 block of 69th Street on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Lisa Souqy, 46, of Darien, was arrested at 3 a.m. March 23 in the 2200 block of Hamilton Lane on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Vasile Chirilov, 27, of Woodridge, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. March 22 on 75th Street on a charge of DUI. An officer saw him speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Ana Katrina Palaia, 20, of Bolingbrook, was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. March 20 in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue on a charge of possession of marijuana by a passenger. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A garage door in the 700 block of 72nd Street was spray-painted with graffiti between 3 p.m. March 14 and 9:30 a.m. March 15. A nearby stop sign and a park district wall at the end of 72nd Street also were vandalized.
  • The passenger side of a car was damaged between 11:15 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. March 19 in the 8400 block of Beller Road. The damage was estimated at $1,650.
  • A suspect used a car to damage mailboxes and a pole overnight March 23 in the 700 block of 72nd Street.
