2 Darien Teens Arrested: Police
One of them was going more than 35 mph over the speed limit, police say.
DARIEN, IL — Two Darien men were among those arrested recently by the Darien Police Department. Here is the information from the latest Darien blotter:
- Matthew Uccardi, 18, of Darien, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. April 29 on Interstate 55 at Lemont Road on charges of speeding more than 35 mph over the speed limit and improper lane usage. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Dylan Voss, 19, of Darien, was arrested May 2 on a Darien warrant for a charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Desiree Brown, 33, of Dolton, was arrested at 6 a.m. May 3 in the 7800 block of Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A suspect removed a box of vape smoke disposables and exited without paying about 12:30 p.m. April 29 at Tobacco Nest, 6818 Route 83. The suspect was last seen in a small red SUV. The loss was estimated at $13.
- Valve caps were removed and a tire was damaged between 7 p.m. May 2 and 8 a.m. May 4 in the 1100 block of Lacebark Court.
- A customer at Walmart, 2189 75th St., reported that a wallet was left in a cart while loading items between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. May 4. It was considered a theft of lost property. The loss was $60.
