3-Car Accident, DUI: Darien Police
Crash happened when an emergency vehicle went through an intersection, police say.
DARIEN, IL — In recent days, Darien police have responded to a three-car accident and arrested a Willowbrook man on a DUI charge. Here is the information from the latest Darien police blotter:
- A three-car accident happened when an emergency vehicle went through the intersection at 75th Street and Cass Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Feb. 20. The three vehicles heading east on 75th struck each other. The driver of the third vehicle, a black truck, drove away.
- Sandra Mysiewicz, 62, of Plano, was arrested shortly after 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at Lemont Road and Beller Drive on a warrant for failure to appear in court. Her original charge was contempt of court in Lee County. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Mario Baracani, 25, of Willowbrook, was arrested at 3 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 2500 block of Oldfield Road on charges of DUI, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Landon Invie, 51, of Aurora, was arrested shortly after 10 a.m. Feb. 24 on a warrant for contempt of court. The suspect was released and given a date to appear in court.
- The passenger side of a car was keyed between 8 a.m. and noon Feb. 23 at Buona Beef, 7417 Cass Ave. The damage was estimated at $250.
- The doors of a shed were forced open between noon and 9 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 300 block of Oldfield Road. Nothing appeared to be missing. The damage was estimated at $1,000.
