3 Darien Residents Charged In Domestics

One of the residents was also accused of violating his pretrial release.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their later blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 26-year-old man who lives in the 8300 block of Woodland Drive in Darien was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Monday at his home on charges of domestic battery and violating the terms of his pretrial release. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 60-year-old woman who lives in the 8400 block of Captons Lane in Darien was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Monday at her home on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 37-year-old man who lives in the 7500 block of Country Lane in Darien was arrested about 9 a.m. Tuesday at his home on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • A 30-year-old Naperville man was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI, failure to signal when changing lanes and speeding. Police said an officer clocked the man speeding 71 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 7800 block of Cass Avenue. The man was stopped in the Jewel parking lot at Cass and 75th Street. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 50-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on charges of DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road. Police said an officer driving on 75th Street near Adams Street noticed the man driving on the wrong side. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.
