5 Darien Residents Arrested In Last Few Days

Domestic battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and DUI are among the charges.

DARIEN, IL – In the last few days, Darien residents were charged with domestic battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and DUI. Here is information from the latest Darien police reports:

Domestic battery

  • Timothy Koonce, 39, of Darien, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of 67th Street on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Disorderly conduct

  • Elvis Gudauskas, 35, of Darien, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Dry Dock Inn bar, 1125 N. Frontage Road, on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Resisting arrest

  • Victor Martinez, 33, of Darien, was arrested about 10 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 8300 block of Sweetwater Court, where Martinez lives, on charges of driving with a suspended license, resisting a police officer and driving with expired license plates. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

  • Maria Gannon, 59, of Darien, was arrested about 9 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 200 block of South Cass Avenue in Westmont on a charge of DUI and disobeying a traffic signal, according to a Westmont Police Department report. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrant

  • Derrick Baugh, 52, of Darien, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Friday on a warrant charging failure to appear in court. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Retail theft

  • Robert Tillman, 56, of Oak Lawn, was cited about noon Aug. 10 at Home Depot, 2101 W. 75th St., on two counts of retail theft. He was seen hiding an item and going past the checkout. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Kim Young, 57, of Woodridge, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. An officer in the parking lot saw an employee point to a person who was suspected of shoplifting. Young was released and given a date to appear in court.

Porch piracy

  • A package was stolen from a front porch about 2:40 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 8500 block of Harvest Lane. The package, valued at $300, was delivered about 2 p.m.

Graffiti

  • An officer saw graffiti Aug 10 in the 2100 block of 75th Street. The property owner was informed.

Driving violations

  • Rodnissa Martin, 38, of South Holland, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license and improper lighting. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
