On Thursday, April 23rd, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital will host “Live Like a Goddess: Glorious at Any Age!” from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. The inspirational event features New York Times best-selling author and leading authority in the field of women’s health and wellness, Christiane Northrup, MD.
Dr. Northrup’s books, Women’s Health, Women’s Wisdom and The Wisdom of Menopause, have led to numerous PBS specials and helped millions of women better understand how their bodies work. At this event, Dr. Northrup will share her latest findings in women’s health – explaining the core tenets of “ageless living” and sharing her blueprint for ensuring the best years of life are ahead of you.

This is a potentially life-changing evening, where women will discover that age doesn’t have to determine your happiness – or your health. According to Dr. Northrup, “How you grow older is your decision… Don’t battle aging when you can dance with life!”
Emmy-award winning broadcast journalist, Sylvia Perez will emcee the program – beginning with a cocktail hour and book signing with Dr. Northrup, sponsored by Anderson’s Bookshops. Dr. Northrup’s newest book, Goddesses Never Age: The Secret Prescription for Radiance, Vitality, and Well-being will be available for purchase by attendees who want to continue the lessons shared by the physician, named one of “100 Most Trusted People in America” by Reader’s Digest in 2013.

Program participants also will enjoy dinner and a special performance from the cast of Menopause the Musicalâ that will bring light and laughter to the evening and set the stage for Dr. Northrup’s presentation. A visionary pioneer in women’s health, Dr. Northrup will inspire participants to release ageist programming and allow their lives to be infused with that which is always youthful within – their inner Divine Goddess self.
Dr. Northrup will then join a panel of Adventist women’s care professionals that includes Dr. Karen Botsoe, Internist; Dr. Susan Murrey, Obstetrician/Gynecologist; and Dr. Christina Steil, Dermatologist, for a frank and open discussion on women’s health and aging. The evening will end with audience participation in a Q & A session with Dr. Northrup and other physician panelists.
Program cost is $65, and includes entertainment, dinner and other surprises. Participants must register by Friday, April 17th – seating is limited and selling out quickly for this unique and empowering special event. To register, call 630-856-7525, or EventsAtAdventist.com to register.
