Aggravated Assault At Darien Restaurant: Cops

DARIEN, IL – A Daren man who refused to leave a local Mexican restaurant last week ended up being arrested on a number of charges, police said.

Nerijas Kvedaras, 40, who lives in the 1500 block of Darien Lake Drive, was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage, criminal trespassing, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

Police said they were dispatched to Al Chile Mexican Grill, 8123 Cass Ave., shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.

Kvedaras was released and given a date to appear in court.
