DUI

Jose Flores, 49, of Woodridge was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor and speeding at 12:58 a.m. on Feb. 6 in the 8100 block of Lemont Road.

Possession Of A Controlled Substance

Matthew Young, 27, of Chicago was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs, speeding and no taillights at 2:56 a.m. on Feb. 6 at Cass Avenue and South Frontage.

Aggravated DUI

Justine Turk, 29, of Joliet was arrested for two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident,leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to give information after an accident, operating uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol at 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 7 after a crash that occurred at 75th Street and Cass Avenue.

Burglary From Motor Vehicle

At 3:32 p.m. on Feb. 11, an officer was dispatched to Darien Police Department for a walk-in burglary from motor vehicle. Earlier that day at at 8:30 a.m., unknown offender(s) removed a purse with miscellaneous items from an unlocked vehicle parked in the lot of Kindercare, 7906 Cass Avenue. The approximate loss was $440.

At 8:45 a.m. on Feb. 12, an officer was dispatched to George & Son’s HVAC Inc., 8412 Wilmette Avenue for a burglary from motor vehicle. The owner stated sometime between February
8 at 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 11 unknown offender(s) attempted to gain entry by prying open a window.
