Sleeping Driver At Darien Park Arrested On Weapons Charges: Cops

DARIEN, IL – A man sleeping behind the wheel at a Darien park was arrested last week on weapons charges, police said.

Kevin Garcia-Jacobo, 19, of Wheaton, was charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of ammunition without a firearm owner's identification card and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Shortly after midnight Thursday, an officer spotted Garcia-Jacobo at Darien Community Park, 7100 Clarendon Hills Road, police said.
