DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
A 65-year-old Darien man who lives in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Avenue was arrested about 10 a.m. May 21 at his home on two counts of domestic battery. The crime was documented on a video livestream, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
A 25-year-old Darien man who lives in the 7900 block of Brandon Road was arrested about 11 a.m. Friday at his home on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
A 59-year-old Darien man who lives in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Avenue was arrested about 10 a.m. Saturday on two domestic battery accounts. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
A 41-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 9 p.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car, driving the wrong way on a divided highway and improper lighting. Police said an officer saw the man stop his car in the striped area in front of the Tri-State Fire District station at 419 Plainfield Road. He then proceeded without his lights on, police said. He was given a court date and released.
A 24-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to signal when changing lanes. He was given a court date and released.
