DARIEN, IL – A new donut shop opened a little more than a week ago in Willowbrook.
Duck Donuts is at the shopping center on Route 83 that features Whole Foods. It is close to the Darien city limit.
The chain has two other locations in Illinois – Libertyville and Naperville.
A couple of decades ago, the first Duck Donuts opened appropriately on Duck Road in Duck, North Carolina. A lot of ducks have made their home in the area.
The chain now has more than 135 locations across 25 states. It also has a presence in Canada, Egypt, Qatar and Thailand.
The company is now based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
