Road rage
A Darien man who lives in the 9200 block of Waterfall Glen Boulevard in Darien was cited on a charge of marijuana possession by a driver. His age was not released. About 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, an officer saw the man scream and wave his arm at another driver in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue. The man told the officer that the other driver had tried to run him off the road. The officer said he noticed the smell of marijuana when the driver rolled down his window.
Someone smeared what appeared to be ice cream on the back window and tailgate of a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 7300 block of Summit Drive. The resident reported the vandalism about 2 p.m. Sunday.
DUI
A Chicago man, whose age was not given, was arrested about 11 p.m. Saturday on charges of DUI, obstruction of identification, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured car and driving the wrong way. Police said an officer saw the man driving toward oncoming traffic while exiting the Interstate 55 ramp onto Lemont Road. The man was given a court date and then released.
