DARIEN, IL – The Darien Police Department's DUI arrest rate remains higher than that of nearby towns, according to a new study.
In 2025, Darien counted 53 DUI arrests, which works out to 1.6 per officer, according to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists. The previous year, Darien reported 70 such arrests.
The top four Darien officers for DUI arrests in 2025 were Tony Hruby (9), Nelson Servin (8), Nick Nelson (8) and Konrad Kano (6).
