DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
A 26-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday on charges of DUI, speeding and driving an uninsured car. Police said the woman accelerated rapidly in front of an officer. A location was not given. The woman was given a court date and then released.
A fire damaged a restroom next to the pavilion at Darien Community Park, 7100 Clarendon Hills Road. Firefighters from Tri-State Fire District were called about 2 p.m. Friday.
Egging
Two cars in a driveway were egged overnight Thursday in the 3000 block of Drover Lane.
Theft
A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle Monday in the parking lot at Direct ChassisLink Inc., 7955 Cass Ave. The loss was estimated at $2,000.
