Top Salaries For Darien District 61 Teachers, Administrators

DARIEN, IL – The top-paid employee at Darien School District 61 in the 2025-26 school year was Superintendent Robert Langman.

Langman made $232,417, about a third more than the next highest-paid employee.

The four highest-paid teachers each made $118,062. They were Phillip Esposito, Karen Pudil, Susan Sullivan and Julie Vallo.

The district, which has about 1,200 students, recently approved the release of the 2025-26 compensation list.
