Another Theft At Carriage Greens Country Club: Cops
It is the latest in a recent string of theft reports at the establishment.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
- A tray of food was stolen from a refrigerator on Jan. 11 or Jan. 12 at Carriage Greens Country Club, 8700 Carriage Greens Drive. Employees later found the sausage from the tray in a dumpster. The loss was estimated at $80. It is one of a number of recent thefts at the club. The club and the restaurant operator have been in a legal dispute for the last couple of months.
- A 66-year-old Jackson, Mississippi, woman was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Sunday on a charge of retail theft. Police said she did not scan all her items at the self-checkout counter at Walmart, 2189 75th St. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 27-year-old Willowbrook woman was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Monday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. Police said she did not ring up all her items at the self-checkout counter. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
