Attempted Burglary, Deflated Tires: Darien Cops
A man was seen early in the morning entering a back yard and trying to open a door, report says.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
- A man was seen on camera going into a back yard of a house and trying the locked door handle to the detached garage at 1 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 7600 block of Warwick Avenue. He was unable to enter the garage and left. The incident was labeled an attempted burglary.
- A man told police he was arguing with his ex-roommate when she deflated and damaged his tires about 9 a.m. Thursday at WoodSpring Suites, 951 N. Frontage Road. Kristen Sokol, 34, of Lemon Grove, California, was cited on an ordinance violation of criminal damage to property. She was released and given a date to appear in court. The loss was estimated at $950.
- Charlotte Carter, 35, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 8 p.m. Thursday in the 7900 block of Cass Avenue on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court. She posted bond and was given a date to appear in court. She was given a warning for improper display of registration.
- A damaged mailbox was found at the end of a driveway about 11 a.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of Warwick Avenue. The damage was estimated at $90.
