BLOTTER: Vandalized Pool, Bonfire Bust, Alarming Comments
Hinsdale police reports, July 23-27.

SUNDAY JULY 27
A known suspect made comments of an alarming nature to an employee at the Hinsdale Humane Society at 22 N. Elm St. around 1 p.m. Police said the suspect was attempting to abandon a pet in the lobby.

SATURDAY JULY 26
Pool VandalizedSomeone entered the Hinsdale Pool at 500 W. Hinsdale Ave. sometime before 9:15 a.m. July 27. The culprit or culprits threw lawn chairs into the pool and broke beer bottles on the pool deck.

WEDNESDAY JULY 23
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of East Third Street around 9:43 p.m. after reports of a backyard bonfire at residence where the owners were out of town. The suspects fled the yard when police arrived leaving unopened cans of beer, a backpack and cell phone. There were no signs of entry to the house.
