Bothersome Former Co-Worker Prompts Darien Police Call: Report

Darien woman was arrested on a charge of DUI, report says

DARIEN, IL — A resident in the 1000 block of 79th Street called Darien police about 1 a.m. Saturday because a former co-worker was repeatedly coming to her house asking for cigarettes and leaving items in her yard, according to a police report.

While an officer was there, the man walked by. The officer told the man he was no longer welcome at the house and warned that if the man returned, he would be arrested for trespassing, the report said. The man left the area without any problems.

  • Anna Both, 26, of Darien, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was stopped for speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court
  • A car in the 900 block of Ripple Ridge Court was burglarized Sunday. A purse and $250 in cash were stolen.
