Andrew Salgado tonight at Ballydoyle's in downtown Downers Grove

Music lovers come out tonight for an evening of great food, great drinks and great music as Darien's own and grad, takes the stage at in downtown Downers Grove on tonight from 8:30 p.m. til midnight.

Andrew, who also happens to be my son, has been delighting audiences at Ballydoyle's in Bloomingdale and in various clubs and fests throughout the Chicagoland area this summer.

Andrew is a singer/songwriter who is currently working with Jim Peterik of Survivor and Frank Pappalardo of Soundstage on his CD, It's love, it's fun, it's true. He plays a combination of original songs and country/pop covers to which he adds his own unique style. He recently hosted a songwriting symposium in New Lenox with Jim, Leslie Hunt and Bo Bice.

Andrew has honed his musical skills and stage persona to create an interactive performance that entertains and enlightens audiences.

He was recently selected twice as an Artist to Watch by Skope Magazine and he and his music have been featured on ABC television and on the radio in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

Andrew's love of performing, catchy lyrics and infectious smile will leave you musically satisfied while still wanting more.
