Argonne OutLoud, the lab's public lecture series, highlights the cutting-edge research taking place at Argonne National Laboratory and topics of interest to the community at large. The lectures are free and open to the public but require advance registration.

Revolutionary advances in transportation are critical to reducing our nation's petroleum consumption and the environmental impact of our vehicles. Hillebrand will discuss how Argonne research is driving some of the most exciting new vehicle technologies, from modeling and simulation programs to advanced power trains, engines, biofuels and batteries, and their potential impact for the future.
The event will take place at the Argonne APS Conference Center and will include light refreshments and a poster session preceding the lecture.
