Students at Our Lady of Peace School recently honored men and women who have served or who are currently serving our country in the United States Armed Forces. Our Lady of Peace School's own Father Walter Dziordz, a proud veteran, presided over a special school Mass dedicated to military service. Father Walter served as a Sgt. E-5 in the Army's 66th Military Intelligence Group for three years. Most of this time was spent in the Group's headquarters in Germany. Students applauded military family members and friends in attendance for their courage and strength. The Our Lady of Peace second graders ended the Mass by waving flags as they marched around the church singing God Bless America.
