THE GODDARD SCHOOL LOCATED IN DARIEN CELEBRATED ITS GRAND OPENING

The Goddard School^®, the premier preschool and childcare center for
children from six weeks to six years old, located at 8350 Lemont Road in
Darien, IL, celebrated its Grand Opening on Saturday, February 9^th
from 9 AM to 12 PM. Families and children of all ages enjoyed crafts in the
classrooms, air-brush tattoos, live music (Music & Motion), a special visit
from Ronald McDonald who discussed the Ronald McDonald House Charities,
 and displays and give-aways by local merchants.

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony where a ribbon of 50 $2 bills was cut and donated
to Ronald McDonald House Charities^® (RMHC^®). Senator
Christine Radogno, Darien Mayor Kathleen Weaver, The Darien Chamber of Commerce, community members, Goddard School families, family and friends attended. RMHC serves to provide hope, healing, resources and strength to families who are facing the battle of their child's medical crisis.

Children and families created birthday cards to be distributed throughout the year by RMHC directors to pediatric patients or family members celebrating birthdays
during their, or a loved one’s, hospital stay. For every card that The Goddard
School collects, Goddard Systems, Inc., franchisor of The Goddard School, will
donate $1 to RMHC (up to $25,000). Goddard Schools nationwide are working
together to collectively raise $250,000 for RMHC.

The Grand Opening celebration was Birthday Party-themed as Goddard Schools
nationwide celebrate 25 years of learning through play. Since 1988, The Goddard
