The Spiritual Path
The Spiritual path is very difficult to follow. It is not difficult to follow because Spirituality is very hard, but rather because the life one is living creates a barrier to it.

The Spiritual path is very difficult to follow. It is not difficult to follow because Spirituality is very hard, but rather because the life one is living creates a barrier to it. People become so engrossed in the day to day, they simply feel they do not have time for Spirituality.
What is Spirituality? Is it an idea to aim for? The answer is no. Is it a hoped for goal? The answer still, is no. So, If you feel that you can not attain to your idea of Spirituality it means your idea is a false one. In fact, that is precisely the heart of the matter, the idea of Spirituality.
An idea is of mind. Mind is an abstraction, all thoughts are abstract, not real. Cognition is a fantasy wrought, not existing in existence itself, and to follow that idea whatever it is, is to fall short of reality. So friends, do not burden yourselves with some ideal notion of your life "getting to a place" were you can then comfortably seek Spirituality. It will never happen, I promise.

Spirituality is already existing, it does not need to be made. It needs to be experienced, To be made aware of. So that if you are existing in the "non Spiritual sphere of life (trapped in the mind and heart) then the opportunity will never become available because that opportunity does not even exist in that "mind sphere."
The troubles, concerns, stresses, worries, distractions, time wasting, making busy, and entertaining will keep one from the ultimate freedom, stuck in the dream of tomorrow. One must decide if reality is better than "mind fantasy." But how can one know how absolutely grand reality is compared to this shadow of the mind if one has never tasted this reality I am speaking of?

To exist in total reality is the highest experience. It gives one real perspective, not the dreamed up perspective, one will never be able to "think" one's way to the spiritual realities of existence. And once one is in the total reality, one will wonder just why did one ignore it for so long.
The beauty and bliss of reality are such that description will ALWAYS fall short of it. Can you imagine a young prince who, born behind thick castle walls, never went outside of the castle? How much of life would simply be unknown to him? The Sky, the earth, the sea, the rivers, the trees, the vast array of peoples and cultures all unkown to him. None of these would be available to that tiny, narrow prince.
Having almost nothing to compare and contrast; imprisoned. So it is with all who
'stay in the mind' hoping that one day life will present enough relief and time so one can reflect on Spirituality. They will go on waiting, and waiting and...waiting.
