Burglary, DUIs: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 27

• Adrian Moreno, 26, of Plainfield, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. Moreno will be mailed a court date at Downers Grove Field Court. The value of recovered items was $62.34.

Dec. 28

• Officers were dispatched to Da Nice Touch Nails, 2817 83rd St., for a burglary. There was a broken cash register inside the business, but nothing else appeared to be disturbed. The register may have had between $200 and $300.

Dec. 31

• Sharon Skopec, 49, of Lemont, was arrested at 11:48 p.m. in the 8300 block of Lemont Road for DUI, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor and improper lane use. Skopec was processed and released and given a court date of Feb. 5 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Jan. 1

• Dean Wynn, 23, of the 3500 block of Brewer Road, was arrested at 4:15 a.m. at 75th and Cass for DUI. Wynn was processed and released and given a court date of Feb. 5 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
