Car Burglaries, DUI: Darien Police Reports

Darien Police reports through Oct. 30.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oct. 24

  • Someone removed miscellaneous items from a parked, unlocked, running vehicle at Goddard School, 8350 Lemont Road, ssometime between 5:30 and 5:40 p.m. The approximate loss was $120.

  • Someone broke the front door of a business in the 400 block of Plainfield Road and stole cigarettes and lottery tickets at 2:47 a.m.
  • A purse was stolen from an unlocked, running car at Shell Gas Station, 8975 Cass Ave., at 12 p.m. The loss is $860.

Oct. 27

  • Michael Padilla, 21, of the 800 block of Timber Lane, was arrested at 4:07 p.m. at 71st Street and Clarendon Hills Road for driving while license suspended and speeding. Padilla was processed and released with a court date of Nov. 15 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

  • Quin Mulligan, 23, of Indian Head Park, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. in the 7900 block of Cass Avenue for DUI-alcohol, unlawful use of weapon, speeding and improper turn. Mulligan was processed and released with a court date of Nov. 26 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
  • Gullermo Zamudio, 28, of Joliet, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. at Lemont Road and I-55 for driving while license revoked, operating uninsured vehicle and driving without registration light. Zamudio was processed and released with a court date of Nov. 15 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
