Car Burglary, TVs Stolen: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

June 19

• The victim's video footage at 1:37 a.m. in the 3400 block of Brewer Road shows a sedan parking with four occupants. A man exits and goes to the victim's unlocked car parked on the driveway. The man is seen removing something from the vehicle and running back to his car. Victim reports change was missing from his vehicle. The loss was $2.

June 21

• A man and woman removed two flat screen TVs from Walmart, 2189 75th St., at 10:46 a.m. The total loss is $266.

June 23

• Brenda Ayala, 25, of Westmont, was arrested at 7:51 a.m. in the 1100 block of 67th Street for speeding and a failure to appear warrant out of Morton Grove. Ayala was released with a court date of July 13 in Skokie.
• Stearling Stinsen, 31, of Woodridge, was arrested at 1:24 p.m. at Lemont Road and I-55 for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Stinsen was processed and released with a court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court to be mailed.
