Lemont Woman, 52, Killed In Darien Car Crash: Cops
A 52-year-old Lemont woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 67th and Clarendon Hills Rd. in Darien.

DARIEN, IL — A Lemont woman has died after a two-vehicle crash that took place in Darien Friday evening. Police say Janina Petuchow, 52, was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where she later died from injuries caused in the collision.
The fatal crash took place in the intersection of Clarendon Hills Rd. and 67th St. at approximately 5:47 p.m., Darien Police said in a news release. According to police, the other driver was not injured and was "medically cleared to leave the scene." There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Darien Police are working with the Major Crash Reconstruction Team from the Felony Investigation Assistance Team (FIAT) to investigate the cause of the accident. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs were a factor, police said.
