Car Stolen, DUIs: Darien Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

April 11

• Brandon Duda, 23, of the 8400 block of Captons Lane, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. in the 8400 block of Captons for two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
• Maureen Nightingale, 44, of the 7800 block of Queens Court, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. Nightingale was advised a court date for Downers Grove Traffic Court would be mailed to her.

April 13

• Bret Adams, 23, of the 7700 block of Florence, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. at Cass and Plainfield for DUI-alcohol and drugs, speeding and failure to signal. Adams was processed and released with a court date of May 16 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• A 2015 Bentley was stolen at 5:14 a.m. in the 1500 block of Pinehurst Drive. Two cars were also rummaged through with miscellaneous items stolen. The value of the vehicle and property taken was $226,200. The vehicle was recovered on April 15 by Posen police department. No arrests were made and the case is still under investigation.

April 14

• Bob Jones, 28, of Burlington, Iowa, was arrested at 4:45 a.m. at 75th Street and Cass Avenue for DUI-alcohol, unsafe equipment and improper lane usage. Jones was processed and released with a court date of May 15 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Juan Lopez, 28, of the 1100 block of 75th Street, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. in the 1100 block of 75th for two counts of domestic battery. Lopez was transported to DuPage County Jail.

April 15

• Steven Yu, 35, of the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. at Cass and I-55 for DUI-alcohol, no headlights, improper lane use and no valid driver's license. Yu was processed and released with a court date of May 22 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Norma Pinacho, 45, of Melrose Park, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. in the 900 block of 67th for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Pinacho was processed and released with a court date of May 3 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

April 16

• Alexander Lyon, 22, of Woodridge, was arrested at 2:28 p.m. in the 2300 block of Sokol Court for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Lyon was released with a court date in Downers Grove Traffic Court.
