Cars Stuck In Mud Lead To Arrests: Darien Police
Two men are charged with damage to baseball field north of Eisenhower Junior High.
DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest police reports, which included arrests of two men in connection with three cars stuck in the mud. Here is information from the Darien blotter:
- Shortly after 2 a.m. Jan. 12, an officer saw three cars stuck in the mud on a baseball field just north of Eisenhower Junior High, 1410 75th St. Michael Dames, 35, of Darien, was arrested on charges of criminal damage to property and driving with a revoked license. Joshua Moore, 35, of Westmont, was arrested on a charge of criminal damage to property. Both men were released to appear in court.
- A house in the 6800 block of Western Avenue was burglarized shortly before 6 p.m. Jan. 9. The homeowner was told by the alarm company that somebody was breaking in. Several suspects kicked in the back door. The loss hasn't been figured yet.
- David Berry, 31, of Palos Hills, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10 on two warrants and a charge of improper lane usage. An officer saw a car parked on the westbound side of South Frontage Road. The driver drove away as the patrol car approached and then crossed over the double yellow line twice. Berry's warrants were for a charge of disorderly conduct from Palos Hills and a charge of battery from Hickory Hills.
- Camaron Washington, 23, of Chicago, was arrested at 8 p.m. Jan. 10 on charges of driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver. When Washington rolled down his window for an officer at the Shell gas station, the officer smelled marijuana and saw the drug in Washington's lap. Washington was given a date of Feb. 20 to appear in court.
