DARIEN, IL – The top-paid employee at Center Cass School District 66 in the 2022-23 school year was Superintendent Andrew Wise.

Wise made $206,000, 45 percent more than the next highest-paid employee.

The highest-paid teacher was Deborah Walega. At third on the list, she made $141,318.

The district, which has about 1,100 students, recently approved the release of the 2022-23 compensation list.
