DARIEN, IL – A Darien City Council committee voted unanimously Monday for an auto body shop in the old CVS Pharmacy building on the west side of town.

This decision conflicts with the Darien Planning and Zoning Commission, which voted 7-1 earlier this month against a Gerber Collision & Glass. This was after dozens of neighbors expressed opposition.

Now, the proposal is expected to go before the seven-member City Council on Monday.
