Criminal Trespassing, DUIs: Darien Blotter

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Retail Theft

• Laura Wojtowicz, 58, Westmont, was arrested at 1:35 p.m. July 28 at Wal-Mart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft.

Possession of Controlled Substance

• A male juvenile was arrested after an accident at 75th Street and Cass Avenue at 1:54 a.m. July 29 for felony possession of a controlled substance, underage consumption of alcohol by a minor and violation of curfew.

Violation of Curfew

• A male juvenile was arrested after an accident at 75th Street and Cass Avenue at 1:54 a.m. July 29 for curfew violation.

DUI

• Alexander Rivera, 20, Westmont, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. July 29 in the 7300 block of Cass for DUI and driving while license suspended. Rivera was processed and released with a court date of Sept. 6 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Francisco Caballero, 58, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. July 30 in the 2900 block of 87th Street for DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. Caballero was processed and given a court date of Aug. 29 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Valerie Perez, 25, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. July 30 in the 8400 block of Cass for DUI, obstructing identification, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor, failure to signal, no driver's license, improper lane usage and a warrant from another agency. Perez was processed and given a court date of Aug. 23 at Will County Court House for the warrant. Perez was processed and given a court date of Aug. 29 at DuPage County Judicial Center for the Darien charges.

Criminal Trespass

• Richard Zablocki, 54, Downers Grove, was arrested at 5 p.m. July 29 at Fruitful Yield, 2141 75th St., for criminal trespassing. Zablocki was processed and released with a court date of Sept. 12 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Domestic Battery

• Jeffrey Eggebeen, 27, of the 1500 block of Royal Oak Road, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 1500 block of Royal Oak for domestic battery. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
