Darien Arrest Gets Attention In Iowa
A man was charged with making a threat of terrorism, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police last week arrested a man who was wanted on a threat of terrorism in Iowa.
On the morning of Aug. 8, Darien police said they got word that Rashaud Colbert, 23, of Phoenix, was at Blueberry Hill restaurant on Route 83. Officers arrested him.
Colbert, who wore a Chicago Bulls T-shirt in his mugshot, was taken to the DuPage County Jail to await extradition.

Darien's arrest got media attention in Iowa.
According to media accounts, Clarke University in Dubuque went into lockdown about 8 a.m. Aug. 8, a couple of hours before Colbert was arrested.

The lockdown was prompted by a social media threat by Colbert, a former Clarke student who faces a felony charge, authorities said.
The university reopened four hours later.
