Darien Arrests Chicago Assault Suspect
In another case, a Darien woman was arrested on a DUI warrant, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Assault warrant
- A 30-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Saturday on a Cook County warrant charging assault. An officer stopped the man in the 8600 block of Lemont Road for an obstructed front windshield. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 43-year-old Darien woman who lives in the 7200 block of Leonard Drive was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on a DUI charge. She was arrested while officers were investigating another matter. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 27-year-old Burr Ridge man was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday on two DuPage County warrants charging failure to appear in court. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Graffiti
- An officer was called Sunday for a report of graffiti near the crosswalk on the southeast corner of the intersection at 69th Street and Richmond Avenue.

- A 22-year-old Lemont man was arrested about 1 a.m. Monday in the 8700 block of Lemont Road on charges of DUI, speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Police said the man was speeding 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
