Darien: Beware Of Roofing Scams After Storm
The city suffered an "extreme" hailstorm overnight. Contractors are seeking solicitor licenses.

DARIEN, IL – Numerous roofing companies have applied for solicitor licenses in Darien since Tuesday night's "extreme" hailstorm, the city said in a statement.
Issuing a license can take up to 10 days, the city said.
Because Darien has no active solicitor licenses now, no one should be selling door to door, according to the city. Residents are urged to call 911 if they see solicitors.
