Darien Cops Arrest Official From Another Suburb
The official was seen swerving before an officer pulled him over, police said.

DARIEN, IL – A Darien police officer found a park district official in La Grange Park to be double the legal limit before the official's DUI arrest last month, police said.
Through a public records request, Patch obtained the Darien police report on the arrest of 54-year-old Timothy Ogden. He is a longtime member of the board for the Community Park District of La Grange Park.
Police said Ogden was stopped in his Infiniti QX50 about 12:30 a.m. May 24. An officer reported seeing Ogden swerving three times, crossing lane lines.

Asked whether he had anything to drink, Ogden said, "Yeah, earlier, that's why we're going home," according to the report.
Pressed for details, Ogden said he had a Tito's vodka and soda, police said.

He said he had "two or three" alcohol beverages "three or four hours ago," the report said.
The officer reported Ogden to have bloodshot, glossy eyes, slurred speech and a smell of alcohol.
Ogden struggled with physical tests, with the officer explaining instructions several times in some cases, police said.
Ogden agreed to take a preliminary breath test, which gauged his blood-alcohol content at .16, police said.
At the police station, an intoxication device measured him at nearly .14 about an hour later, police said.
He was charged with DUI and improper lane usage.
