Darien Cops Called To Fight Involving Several People

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their weekly blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • Police were called to a fight about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 8700 block of Carriage Green Drive. Several people were involved. The 8700 block includes Carriage Greens Country Club and a few houses. A 33-year-old Hoffman Estates man was cited on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was given a court date. Patch has filed a public records request for the police report

Trespassing

  • About 2:30 p.m. Monday, a 47-year-old Chicago man entered Starbucks, 7517 Cass Ave., after being told he could not be on the property. He was charged with criminal trespassing and given a court date.

Burglary

  • Someone entered an industrial building and caused damage overnight Thursday in the 8200 block of Lemont Road. The damage was estimated at $1,750.

Retail theft

  • A 64-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Saturday on a retail theft charge. The incident occurred at Walmart, 2189 75th St. The man was given a court date and released.
