Darien Cops Pursue Fleeing Suspect
The incident resulted in a large police presence, authorities said.
DARIEN, IL – A significant police presence earlier Tuesday morning in Darien was the result of a suspect running away from officers, police said.
The police presence was near 75th and Adams streets.
"Thanks to the diligent efforts of DPD officers, support from neighboring towns, and the public, the subject was taken into custody a few minutes later. Police will be leaving the area shortly," the police department said in a mid-morning text alert.
