Darien Drive-Thru Dispute Draws Police

A woman who said her order was incorrect threw food at the window, authorities said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the latest reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • A 58-year-old Willowbrook woman was cited about 5 p.m. Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct. Officers responded to McDonald's, 805 Plainfield Road, for a disturbance. A manager said a customer in the drive-thru threw her food order at the window because it was incorrect, police said. The woman was released and given a date to appear in court.

Violating protection order

  • Officers were called about 11 p.m. Aug. 21 to the 1100 block of Chalet Drive for a violation of an order of protection. A week later, a 42-year-old woman who lives in the same block was charged with violating an order of protection. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrants

  • A 26-year-old Woodridge woman was arrested about 10 p.m. Sunday on two warrants charging failure to appear in court. Police said an officer saw the woman run a red light at Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road. She was issued a warrant for the traffic violation and then taken to the DuPage County Jail.
