Darien DUI Suspect Asleep In Running Car: Police

In another case, eggs were thrown at a house in a Darien neighborhood.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

DUI

  • Calen Johnson-Miller, 30, of Park Forest, was arrested about Saturday on charges of DUI and parking on the roadway. Police said the man was asleep in a running car near Lemont Road and Interstate 55. He was given a court date and then released.

  • Eggs were thrown Saturday at a home in the 7700 block of Florence Avenue. The damage was estimated at $200.

Theft

  • Someone stole five pallets overnight Saturday from the back of the Brookhaven Marketplace grocery store, 7516 Cass Ave.

  • A 23-year-old Plainfield man was arrested about 11 a.m. Saturday at Speedway gas station, 7502 Cass Ave., on charges of retail theft, obstructing identification and resisting an officer. He was given a court date and then released.
