The City of Darien and Village of Woodridge have worked together to secure grant money for resurfacing 83rd Street, a Woodridge news release announced Thursday.
According to the release, the municipalities obtained a $630,000 Surface Transportation Program grant. The work will begin in 2015.
Resurfacing will be done along 83rd Street between Lemont Road and the Interstate-355 bridge deck.
