Darien Man Accused Of Breaking Protection Order

In another case, an Elmhurst woman was charged with DUI after being stopped for speeding, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Violating order of protection

  • A 38-year-old man from the 1500 block of Sequoia Lane was arrested Thursday at his house on a charge of violating an order of protection. Under that order, he is not allowed to be at the house. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • A 28-year-old Elmhurst woman was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Plainfield Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, driving on the wrong side of the road and speeding. She was clocked speeding 70 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 8000 block of Cass Avenue. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Single-car crash

  • A 55-year-old man from Woodridge was arrested about 9 a.m. Monday at Manning Road and Fairview Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license and damage to city property. He was involved in a single-car crash. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
