Kroll, a senior business banker, is the vice president of Naperville-based KidsMatter, a nonprofit group. His photo and information were removed from the group's website.
A forensic examination of Kroll's digital electronics revealed child pornography files, according to the Sheriff's Office. This was after the Sheriff's Office executed a warrant at Kroll's house.

"The allegations against Mr. Kroll are very disturbing," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement. "What I find particularly troubling about these allegations is the fact that Mr. Kroll currently serves as vice president of the board for KidsMatter."
