Darien Man Accused Of Drug Possession: Cops

A Clarendon Hills woman is charged with retail theft.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Drug possession

  • Jason Bodik, 42, of Darien, was arrested about 10 a.m. Oct. 18 at or near his house in the 800 block of Albany Lane on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court. The warrant was in connection with charges of possession of a controlled substance and DUI. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

  • Clarissa Lugo, 33, of Clarendon Hills, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. According to a police report, she was under scanning baby-related items in the self-checkout aisle. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Car break-ins

  • A masked man tried to enter a car about 6 a.m. Oct. 18 in the 600 block of Honey Locust Lane. He was last seen heading west on Henry Locust Lane.
  • A masked man entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway about 6 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 7700 block of Farmingdale Drive. Nothing appeared to be missing.

DUI

  • Melvin Robinson, 41, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 on charges of DUI, endangering the health or life of a child, obstructing identification, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, driving on the wrong side of the road and improper lane usage crossing a lane boundary unsafely. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Driving violations

  • Michael Perry, 19, of Clarendon Hills, was cited about 5 a.m. Saturday at 75th Street and Cass Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, loud muffler and speeding. He was speeding 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Tashaun Wallace, 43, Country Club Hills, was cited about 3 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 7300 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The person was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Cassmon Kimbrough, 29, of Westmont, was arrested about 1 a.m. Oct. 21 on Lombard and Darien warrants for failure to appear in court and on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Tyshawn Harkins, 18, of Chicago, was cited about 5 p.m. Oct. 21 at Cass Avenue and Plainfield Rod on charges of driving with no license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper windshield condition. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Loreal Williams, 33, of Bellwood, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at 75th Street and Exner Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with expired plates. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Luis Arteaga, 47, of Bolingbrook, was cited about 8 p.m. Oct. 21 at 87th Street and Meadows Lane on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with a canceled, suspended or revoked Illinois registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
