Darien Man Charged With Battery: Cops
In other cases, officers arrested men on DUI charges, police said.

DARIEN, IL – In recent days, Darien police handled cases involving domestic battery, DUIs, a warrant and a car burglary. Here is information from the latest reports:
Domestic battery

- Robert Jackson, 36, of Darien, was arrested about noon Saturday in the 7500 block of Country Lane on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUIs
- Eleazar Gonzalez, 37, of Joliet, was arrested about midnight Sunday in the 7400 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Vladas Kersnauskis, 35, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday near Cass Avenue and 65th Street on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked license and improperly turning at an intersection. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Car burglary

- A car was burglarized between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at Indian Prairie Library, 401 Plainfield Road. A wallet was stolen. The loss is estimated at $20.
