Darien Man Charged With Burglary, Attempted Trespassing
He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Burglary
- Jim Thibeault, 47, who lives in the 100 block of Holly Avenue in Darien, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday on a Darien warrant charging burglary, attempted criminal trespass of vehicles and resisting. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Patch has filed a public records request for the police report.

- A 19-year-old Darien woman who lives in the 900 block of Plainfield Road was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Friday at her house. Police said she was wanted on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a weapon. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
- A 47-year-old man with no address was asked to leave about 10:30 a.m. Aug. 13 at Speedway gas station, 7502 Cass Ave. As he left, he stole items. The man was arrested on charges of retail theft and trespassing. He was given a court date and then released.

- Another agency notified Darien police that they detained a 35-year-old Gary, Indiana, man who was wanted on a Darien warrant that police said was for fleeing and eluding an officer, driving with a suspended license, disobeying a traffic light, driving an uninsured car, improper lighting and driving with no registration. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Damage
- A car's rear passenger window was reported broken Friday in the 7100 block of Clarendon Hills Road.
